Unusual spaces are still characters
A no-break space, thin space, figure space, and ordinary space may look similar but behave differently in search, wrapping, and data processing. Examples include U+00A0 NO-BREAK SPACE, U+2009 THIN SPACE, and U+3000 IDEOGRAPHIC SPACE.

For plain-text exports and data cleanup, converting unusual spaces to ordinary spaces is often appropriate. Keep no-break spaces when their non-wrapping behavior is intentional, and check locale-specific typography before changing them. Use Clean unusual spaces with a reviewable output.
The tool reports the code point and transformation; it does not infer the author’s intention or guarantee that conversion is safe for every downstream format.
